The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed in regards to the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance point developed for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your office to attend to all people who go to a service SRD point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to empower the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
